Integrated Vestibular Rehabilitation Therapy (iVRT)

At Ear and Balance Clinic, Dr. Carol Jackson and Dr. Ashley Beko offer a unique approach we call Integrated Vestibular Rehabilitation Therapy or iVRT, by combining medical management and vestibular therapy to help patients who suffer from types of vertigo, dizziness or unsteadiness. Following diagnostic vestibular testing performed, Dr. Jackson and Dr. Beko work together to create a customized treatment and therapy plan to improve vertigo, dizziness, imbalance, as well as secondary symptoms, such as headache and nausea. This includes taking therapy a step further, when necessary, to evaluate a patient's other medical conditions electrolyte/vitamin levels, sleep patterns, diet, exercise, and lifestyle.

Hearing and Balance Assessments

Performed by audiologist Dr. Ashley Beko, these assessments guide us to the appropriate medical, surgical, amplification, and therapy solutions. Once complete, Dr. Jackson utilizes her expertise and clinical skills to prescribe medications, perform procedures, order imaging scans and blood tests, when indicated. Assessment types include:
